Marilyn Manson Finishes New Album; Changes Album Title

By  |

Awhile back we reported on Marilyn Manson revealing an anticipated teaser for his next album, featuring a scene where a decapitated figure

likening President Trump was seen laying in a pool of blood, alongside lyrical content such as “You say God and I say SAY10,” further setting in stone the (now) original name of Marilyn Manson’s upcoming album. Although, now it seems like “SAY10” will no longer be the albums title, and instead be taking a backseat and being used as just a track title in favor of Heaven Upside Down.

While walking the carpet at the King Arthur: Legend of the Sword premiere, Manson spoke briefly to FabulousTV. “I just finished my new album, going on tour in July. The record’s called ‘Heaven Upside Down’,” Said Manson.

Following, Manson opened up about his unlikely friendship with the King Arthur star Charlie Hunnam. “We’re strangely like brothers,” Manson told ET Online.

“I don’t have a lot of close men friends at my ’round table’ so to speak. I don’t even have a table. But Charlie and I always cook food for each other.” He continued.

“I just finished my new album, I’m going on tour in July,” Manson says. “The record’s called Heaven Upside Down.”

Back in September, Manson also took part in an interview with none other than Rolling Stone in which Manson spoke in detail about comparisons between SAY10 and his previously successful albums Antichrist Superstar and Mechanical Animals.

“It’s not very much in any way like The Pale Emperor,” Manson says.

“The people who have heard the new songs said it reminded them of their favorite parts of Antichrist Superstar and Mechanical Animals — but with a new, different approach.” He continues, “It’s pretty violent in its nature for some reason.”
