Paramore Release New Track “Told You So”

A few weeks ago, Tennessee based rock band Paramore made headlines when they began to tease their return by gradually unveiling mysterious new artwork via their official Facebook and Twitter accounts.

Following the tease, they’ve finally shared the the full image to unveil the new album art and a full video for the track “Hard Times,” much to their fan base’s delight. The band’s previous record was their acclaimed self-titled 2013 album, which saw them rise and take over the charts all around the world, and securing their appearance as a headliner at Reading & Leeds Festival 2014.

The giants that took over the underground music scene made a come-back in 2004 recently returned to cover Radiohead at their first gig with ex drummer Zac Farro in seven years which received a largely positive reception from fans, and have also promised their fan base a lengthy touring season in 2017.

When updating fans on their fifth album, the band stated, “following up our self-titled album didn’t seem like it was going to be an easy task and, unsurprisingly, it was not. the problem about comparing yourself to… yourself… is that even though it’s better than looking elsewhere, you’re still looking in the wrong direction.”

 The album ‘After Laughter’ will be released on 12 May.

The track listing for “After Laughter” includes Hard Times, Rose-Colored Boy, Told You So, Forgiveness, Fake Happy, 26, Pool, Grudges, Caught In The Middle, Idle Worship, No Friend and Tell Me How.

The band will also be embarking on a full UK tour in June.
