Bring Me The Horizon Frontman Oliver Sykes In Hospital
Oliver Sykes of Bring Me The Horizon posted a photo to his social media earlier today of himself in hospital, alongside the caption “Tour takes it out of you. Thank you to everyone who made the American Nightmare tour what it was… now for some much needed recovery.”
Bring Me The Horizon fans were quick to comfort the front man by posting positive and supportive comments on the post, including “get well soon!” and “Much love!”
No more details regarding Oliver Sykes’ health has been posted to his social media as yet, however it seems Bring Me The Horizon’s extensive tour schedule has worn the usually up-beat and energetic front man out and become too much.
Bring Me The Horizon just finished the extensive “The American Nightmare Tour” across the U.S with the legendary Underoath and Beartooth. The tour hit Orlando, Houston, Dallas, Chicago, Detroit, Toronto, Montreal, Lowell, New York, Philadelphia, Atlanta, St. Louis, Kansas City, Broomfield, Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Phoenix and Las Vegas.
Prior to the American tour, the band also toured across New Zealand and Australia.
When promoting the American tour back in February, Oliver Sykes stated “Last tour before we go away for a long time.. if you fancy seeing us get your act together.”
Did Bring Me The Horizon plan to have a break with touring? or can we expect to see the band hitting the studio and working on new music to put out in the near future? only time will tell. Either way, we wish Oliver Sykes a fast recovery and we’ll keep readers updated as more information is released.
